I'm Jacqueline Bodnar, a 47 year old writer/blogger who lives in Florida. While I flirted with running here and there over the years, I got serious about being a consistent runner in December 2015. Since that time, I consistently run three days per week, for around three miles each time. Once in a while I go for a 4 or 5 mile run to challenge myself. I've also gradually lost 45 pounds since starting this program (changing nothing in my diet). I've been a vegetarian (primarily vegan) since October 1995. I'm also an avid reader, hiker, RV camper, and nature lover.
I'm not all-star athlete and I'm not someone who runs marathons or ultra-marathons, or who aspires to. I'm not out to run an 7 or 8-minute mile. I'm just an average person who wants to have a consistent running program, because I enjoy it and feel it's the most challenging and most rewarding exercise that I've ever done in my life. I love what running does for my body and my mind. It makes me feel great and helps keep me healthier.
